Duplicate a Finder window
while staying in the same folder...

Clone Window duplicates the frontmost Finder window at the same folder.
This is useful when you want to keep your current window as it is, but you want a second window for further navigation based on the same folder as the current window.

  • does not modify the operating system in any way nor uses any hacks. It just scripts the Finder.

By clicking on the Clone Window icon in the Finder toolbar, a new window is created at the same folder.
